This European Standard specifies requirements, methods of test and performance criteria for power supply equipment (see component L of figure 1 of EN 54-1) of fire detection and fire alarm systems installed in buildings. NOTE: Power supply equipment with special characteristics, developed for particular applications, is not necessarily the subject of this standard and may require further tests.
